Approach / How I Work
My approach to therapy is warm, relational, and grounded. I want you to feel hopeful when you sit down with me - like you’re beginning a meaningful process with someone who can hold what you’re carrying and walk alongside you for as long as you need. I’m creative and adaptable in sessions; we don’t have to know exactly where we’re headed to do good work together, as long as we have a strong container we build with intention. I focus on creating space for you to really see yourself, which can be even more transformative than feeling seen by others. My role isn’t to fix or direct but to help you slow down, notice what’s emerging, and show up more fully as yourself.
You’re the expert in your own life. Together, we reflect on experiences, uncover patterns, and explore new ways of being. Therapy is a partnership where your voice and perspective are central.
1
Collaborative and Reflective
I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where your experiences are validated. Trauma-informed care means we move at a pace that feels manageable, focusing on safety, resilience, and empowerment.
2
Trauma-Informed and Safe
I provide queer-centered therapy for LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, as well as people exploring relationships of all kinds. This means honoring your identities, validating your experiences, and navigating the unique challenges you face in a society that doesn’t always see you.
3
LGBTQIA+ Therapy
I integrate creativity, narrative, and relational approaches into sessions, encouraging you to explore who you are and how you want to show up in the world. Growth, confidence, and authentic self-expression are central goals.
